sadness about the hawk-lessness. I had my own very serious mourning period after I grew my hair out and directed it back to its natural brown state (I hear pink-haired med students are frowned upon hear in the dirty south).

I am loving the pod. Seriously. Loving. Loving it so hard. I went from injections to podding, because truth be told, I have commitment issues when it comes to pumps and wires... it was always a drawback that I couldn't seem to overcome. But when I started med school by BG went haywire and injections weren't cutting it, thus the advent of podding. I love the self-inserting cannula, and believe it or not the pod itself is really not noticeable under clothes (this may just have been a girly concern of mine). I've been on it since March and have never had a cannula kink, or any other problems as far as insulin delivery -I wish I could offer a better pump to pod comparison :( but I'm lacking in much pump knowledge (aside from helping little folk dial up boluses at diabetes camp lol... which they could usually manage for themselves).
How long have you been a pumper?

Hi Jim... things are going well. It's been great to meet people through this site... I naively have been on my own doing this diabetes thing for a while and am finally branching out to this big community. How long have you had?
