Hi,
I was checking back in to see how you are doing since your foot surgery. I really hope all is going well.
Are you able to walk around yet? How is your back doing? I have been keeping you in my prayers and asking my Angels to watch over you too. Blessings be to you.

Hello! New here - not sure if I accepted your friend request correctly! Hope I did... :) I'm shooting for an A1c like yours (actually I'm pumping for one now!).

Hi. Thanks for the check in. Life is good in my world. Just got a new A1C at 7.0 and kind of frustrated at that. I've really been working at reducing it. My goal is still sub-6. I got as close as 6.2. Guess I'll have to keep working at it. I'm trying to get a CGMS from my insurance company, but I've been "under review" for a long time. Did you see the CGMS Denial petition on the main page? Have you signed it?

Hope all is well with you. Take care.

heyy there! thanks soooo much for the comment on my blog! i actually have a minimed 522(i think that's the number? lol) so i have the bolus wizard too. yay for that. my educator just kinda rushed through everythign and was on her cell phone most of the time, so i felt sort of like a train hit me and kept on running down the tracks and i was left there all flustered.

i dont have any problem carb counting, i pretty much have everythign i eat memorized- but thanks for the tips, i will definitely check out some books...i dunno why i never thought of that! and NAMING my pump? ah brilliant. haha...so yours is pumpy? hmm...i shall have to think of something catchy to call my little black one.

i actually have a question for you, when you go to bed, what the frick are you supposed to do with the pump?! i feel like its uncomfy wherever i put it on the waistband of my pjs. maybe i just need to get used to it...but i feel like im gunna roll over on it and wake up with a pump impression on my belly in the morning. lol.

oh and one more thing (sorry to ramble on!) i saw you live upstate in NY, what part exactly? i go to college upstate!
