Hi Allie! Thanks to your "voice", I have just discovered the importance of c-peptide! I had no idea what I was missing. I just started this discussion and I was wondering if you have any answers to where one can get c-peptide. Also, just out of curiosity, do you use animal insulin?

Thank you for all you do--- you do indeed make the world safer for people with diabetes!

Hey Allie, I hope you are doing well. I wanted to send you this link that I came across today re INGAP and an approach to reverse the autoimmune attack/response that causes T1, if you haven't already seen this. The press release says that this research was funded by the Iacocca Foundation... http://www.eurekalert.org/pub_releases/2008-06/evms-udc061008.php
Hope you have a good day,
Katie I.

Here is just a few ideas to keep it upbeat,
-test drive a car you cant afford
-try a new food
-buy some new music, something out of the box you usually would not buy
-dont do the same work out each day- try a diffrent class each day.

also what caused your type 1...? great topic for a blast, theories, old wives-tales & the latest science
