thank you so much for commenting on my DKA post. i hope that tudiabetes is a source of warmth and companionship that you can't find elsewhere out there on the net. i know it has been that for me!
I would love a pattern Marie, thank you for offering. I wasn't going to make the Quillo's out of fleece, but a pretty very soft cotton with a inner lining of battling, with a solid back. Then I was going to get the thinnest satin ribbon and needle them though and tie and cut. A look of being quilted, but not really. I thought they would be pretty for ladies gifts and a more male soft cotton for the guys...John Deer is big in the south and animal forest prints. Diffinitly good seller for Christmas....course like I said, with the work in the house I may be hiring some of this work out. Interested? LOL....I love making things and keeping myself busy, keeps me out of trouble~Blessings to you~Sande
Wow, I thought I was crafty! Yes, I know the Quillo. A friend of mine made some from fleece, they were not quilted (easy to make) - and sold them - do you need a pattern, because I can ask her.
Welcome to the TuDiabetes family, Sande. It is an honor to have someone who has lived with d such a long time: I know we will all learn a lot from you.
