Happy Birthday Baby!

My first baby turns 11 today. I never thought one of her birthdays would make me sad. This time last year she was perfectly healthy and her biggest worry in the world was if she was going to get an ipod for her birthday and what color cake she was getting :( Here we are a year later and have learned there are much bigger things to worry about.

No more Goodnights!

I posted on my blog about it and am too tired to retype but any parent with a child that suffers nighttime enurisis can definatly sympathize!

This touched my heart today

I asked God.....

I asked God to take away my pain. God said, No. It is not for me to take away, but for you to give it up.

I asked God to make my handicapped child whole. God said, No. Her spirit was whole, her body was only temporary.

I asked God to grant me patience. God said, No. Patience is a byproduct of tribulations, it isn't granted, it is earned.

I asked God to give me happiness. God said, No. I give you blessings, Happiness is up to you.

I love it! I am the first here to be on the pod. I am also a Super-trainer for them so I might train you if you switch...I was lucky that I switched insurance companies so even though my MM was still in warranty, the new company didn't know when I got it so that was to my advantage (: It was outdated as it was the 712 so didn't have the CGMS technology. I also use the Dexcom 7 intermittently and am looking forward to the new Omnipod with the Dexcom and Navigator technology integrated in...I love choices!

I will talk with Ning about this, to see what we can do about it.

Could you send me (at manny at tudiabetes dot org) more details about your computer setup (hardware: speed, RAM; software: operating system, browser you are using, etc.) so I can have more information to share with them?

You must be so proud of your daughter, winnining her first ribbon. When I was a kid I was in 4-H with my horses. I won a couple of purple wons myself. I had a big white horse when I was 8 yrs old. The judge to all of us in the ring to dismount (get off). I couldn't get back on without a boost by the judge. It was a funny moment and memory that I will always have. I am the daddy of twin identical girls 14 going on 20 at times.
Well take care of yourself and welcome.
