Hey Kelly! Sorry it took me so long to respond..I have this horrible habit of being in my own little world : )

Anyway, things are pretty good here - about to start using the DexCom’s CGM and, needless to say, I'm VERY excited. : )

How’s life on your end?

Well, I don't like the screen - very hard to see at night. I'm not a big fan of the customer service either, I've had a few issues and was even sent the wrong supplies 3 days b4 I was going to Hawaii.
I do like the bolus wiszard function - very handy.

I like the 20/20 because the screen is really easy to read, it's the smallest pump on the market, and the customer service is really good. Plus, it comes in some very attractive colors.

Yeah, I'll let you know if I need that number. If you don't mind me asking, what do you dislike about your minimed that you are switching to an Animas 2020? Also, may some of the issues with your minimed been fixed in the last four years? Just curious to hear your opinion!

I'm looking forward to the freedom very much. That means I can be a normal college student and sleep in on weekends!!! I'm really at the very beginning of the process- I have an education class next week and then I check in with my doctor at the beginning of August. From looking around and knowing a few other diabetics here at my college, I'm pretty sure I want the minimed pump. They sound pretty awesome.

Thanks! I'm really excited although I probably won't actually have the pump until August. It's nothing compared to the two years I've been waiting though!

Was Great meeting/re-meeting you too Kelly! I will have to go to more of those meetings. I know I can juggle insulin pumps better than that.

Hi Kelly!!

Yup. Born and raised in NJ. I went to Glassboro State (back when it was named that) and grew up in North Jersey mostly. What took you so long to join Tudiabetes? LOL.
