I had my 3 month check-up and I am so pleased that my A1C has gone from 7.1% to 5.8%. My Triglycerides have improved ENORMOUSLY. I am so thrilled. I got a Onetouch Ultrasmart glucose meter and I am learning how to use it. I know it has been out for some time but it is new to me…

Now I have not yet gotten to the part where I am doing everything that I should be doing. I am halfway there. I have been eating very healthy and have gone from eating out everyday at least 2 meals a day to bringing my (healthy) lunch to work and cooking dinner. That was a major transformation for me, after all, I work full-time and commute one hour each way to work. It takes time to plan. I have to do more shopping etc. I have a husband and three boys etc. Ok, now that I have that wor…

I just want to introduce myself. I am very new to blogging and belonging to any kind of network like this. I just know that it helps me a great deal when I read everyone's day to day posts. I have been on & off with doing what I am suppose to. I'm doing excellent right now. I hope that when I go back to the doctor at the end of October that my A1c will have improved tremendously.
