I understand your feelings I was there too. I think that's normal.
I used starting my company as an out for me. Stay focused, stay positive, and lean on us your lovely hubby and those beautiful boys!
You can see what bags we have on our website at http://stickmedesigns.com and don't forget about the TUD discount: 2diabetes
Hope to see ya around.
Working at night does complicate things. Changes in eating and sleeping patterns will upset your internal clock. At least initially this will likely cause problems with your blood sugars. I advise that you continue to take your meds the same way as you do now, at mealtime, and see what happens. Take your Byetta 1 hour before eating and metformin with food to avoid stomach distress. If your Lexipro causes drowziness, take it before you sleep. In a few weeks most people make the adjustment and you should see your blood sugars stabilize. If they don't, call to your endocrinologist or regular physician. Let me know how it goes.
You sound like you have everything planned out, that's great!
I also joined a diabetic support group, headed by one of the diabetes dietitians, but I had to stop going due to my mum having and operation and having to stay with her constantly for 4 months but I'm planning to return to it beginning of February. It's held once a week here and the few times I had attended I felt pretty good, It makes you realize you're not going through all this alone and everyone is supportive and full of advice.
I'm also going to restart the water exercises that I had to stop for the same reason. At the moment I can't do any other exercises or walk and I found the water exercises easy to do and it made me feel really good and pleased with myself at the end of each session.
Take care Amanda,
Loren
